Overview
Puntada is a short film that explores the invisible encounters that unfold within everyday urban life. Through a poetic visual language, two strangers unknowingly share the same moment, the same place and, metaphorically, the same stitch (“puntada”), revealing how lives briefly intersect before continuing on separate paths.

Minimal dialogue and carefully composed movement transform ordinary gestures into an emotional narrative where absence, coincidence and memory become the film’s central themes.

Context and Artistic Process

The film approaches movement not as dance inserted into cinema, but as a dramaturgical tool that shapes the relationships between bodies, space and time. Physical expression becomes essential in communicating what remains unspoken, allowing subtle gestures, rhythms and spatial trajectories to carry the emotional weight of the story.

As Choreographer, I collaborated with the director and creative team in developing the physical language for a pivotal sequence, shaping movement to support the dramatic tension and visual composition of the film while remaining fully integrated within its cinematic language.
