Overview
Su ausencia (His Absence) is a solo dance performance that explores memory as an unstable and fragmentary process. Structured through a sequence of recollected moments, the work follows a solitary figure reconstructing episodes from his own life, where time gradually dissolves and passions, obsessions and absences become inseparable.
The performance unfolds through the selective and unpredictable logic of remembrance, allowing memories to emerge, overlap and disappear as shifting physical states.

Conceived as a choreographic exploration of memory and absence, Su ausencia investigates how personal history is embodied through movement rather than recounted through narrative.
The work treats memory as an active process of reconstruction, where fragments of experience are continually reorganized, distorted and reimagined. Movement becomes the medium through which emotions persist after events have disappeared, creating a dialogue between presence and loss, permanence and disappearance.
Performed as a solo piece, the work focuses on the expressive potential of a single body navigating an internal landscape shaped by time, longing and recollection.
