Nanópera is a biennial programme of creation, publication, production and circulation of opera in small format that proposes a crossover between scientific and artistic thought. It aims to promote and disseminate the local creation of musical theatre works in the opera format.

Objective of the residency: To train and randomly bring together writers and composers for the writing of operas in "nano" format with referents from the different disciplines involved in the performing arts and the scientific field: writing, music, nanoscience, theatre, visual arts, management and production.
Three plays were produced in audiovisual format and premiered at the Cine Municipal Select - Espacio INCAA La Plata by the Ensamble Miniatura, directed by Sebastián Novoa and realized by Kalen López, Diego Prado and Diana Rogovsky.
